The mission of 100Kidsinc is to promote the overall stability and well being of vulnerable youth. We focus on the individual and provide them with an experience based on their individual strengths, gifts and talents to enable them to reach their full potential.
Our Vision
“If you can reach one, you can reach 100; imagine what 100 can do.” Our vision is to reach our youth by engaging in practices that foster success through respect, safety and productive struggle. We define :
- Youth as- any individual aged birth thru 26 years.
- Success as- the ability to transition into adulthood by learning skills necessary to cope with life stressors while maintaining a positive self-image.
- Respect as- the ability to express and recognize value within self and others.
- Safe as - spaces that are emotionally, physically, psychologically, morally, and socially protected from harm or danger.
- Productive Struggle as the ability to manage environmental, interpersonal, and intrapersonal risk factors through motivation, persistence and perseverance to achieve desired outcomes.
